Terms of Service

Welcome to CERTNERD (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, and programs (collectively, “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Subscription Enrollment and Payments​

  • Subscription Payment: You commit to paying the subscription amount until the total retail value of the selected program is paid in full. This retail value includes all products and services provided as part of your subscription (e.g., CertMaster Learn, labs, practice tests, test vouchers, and retake vouchers).

  • Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your subscription at any time. However, if you cancel before your subscription is paid in full, you are responsible for paying the full retail value of any products or services you have activated or used. Your one-time registration fee is non-refundable. If you believe your purchase was made in error, please contact us within 72 hours from the time of purchase to request a review for a registration fee refund.

  • Outstanding Balance: Upon cancellation, any outstanding balance equivalent to the retail value of the activated products must be paid within 45 days. Failure to do so may result in additional fees or legal action to recover the remaining balance.

  • Late Payment Fee: If a payment fails to process, a late fee of $25 may be added to your account. This fee will be applied for each failed payment attempt until the payment is successfully processed.

4. Content and Course Related Materials

  • All content and course material that is not CompTIA or its related entities, including but not limited to videos, text, quizzes, and assignments, logos, artwork, taglines, are the intellectual property of CERTNERD. You may not copy, distribute, or share course materials without express written permission.

  • The content of our courses may be updated or modified to reflect changes in the cybersecurity field, and we reserve the right to make changes to the course content at any time without prior notice.

5. Use of Services

  • You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • You may not engage in any activity that could harm the functionality or security of our website or services, such as introducing viruses, attempting unauthorized access, or using bots or other automated means.

6. User Accounts

  • To access certain features of our Services, you may be required to create a user account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in any unauthorized or harmful activities.

7. Privacy

Your use of our Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our Services, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • We do not guarantee that access to our Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for any disruptions or technical issues.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use our Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CERTNERD, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our Services or any violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our Services after the changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
